Idaho Hill students pass reading challenge

OLDTOWN — More than 60 students met the 2nd Quarter Reading Challenge at Idaho Hill Elementary School and were awarded the opportunity to make ice cream sundaes out of three staff members!

Students had to complete six of the nine weekly challenges of reading 20 minutes per night for three days each week.

Students receive weekly rewards if they complete a challenge.

At the end of each quarter the school has a “big reward” for those completing six challenges that quarter, said IHES secretary Dona Storro Jan. 26.
