“Symphony of Soil” Gardening Class

NEWPORT — Beat those winter blues and get charged for the upcoming gardening season by viewing this beautifully filmed movie, “Symphony of the Soil”, “an artistic exploration of the miraculous substance soil”. This free presentation, sponsored by WSU/Pend Oreille County Master Gardeners and Kalispel Tribal Extension, will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.at the Camas Center for Community Wellness, 1821 Le Clerc Road North across the river from Cusick. Filmed on four continents, featuring esteemed scientists and working farmers and ranchers, “Symphony of the Soil” is an intriguing presentation that highlights possibilities of healthy soil creating healthy plants creating healthy humans living on a healthy planet. Even though this presentation is free, please pre-register by calling the WSU/Pend Oreille County Extension Office at 1 509 447-2401 to provide contact information should the class schedule change and ensure adequate materials for all participants will be available.
