Danny Bradbury scores 35 in late Grizzly rally, almost unseats undefeated Scotties

NEWPORT - Despite a massive 35 points by Danny Bradbury, the Grizzlies couldn’t top the undefeated Freeman Scotties here in a 77-72 Jan. 16 loss. The visitors built up 58-41 lead by the end of the third quarter and Newport’s big fourth quarter comeback fell short. The boys had no trouble in a 65-35 win at Deer Park Jan. 19. Koa Pancho led with 23 points. The Grizzlies spread the ball around and scored at will in a 76-45 win over Chewelah Jan. 20. Bradbury led with 22 points.
